• Lead advisor to a European/Global automotive technology company to assist with launch in North

America.

• Lead board member to a start up Brake Technology Company assisting with company strategy,

manufacturing partner selection, and customer and market growth business planning. Created and led

funding efforts, $10 million valuation and related planning to support successful launch of start up.

Fallbrook Technologies (NuVinci) – President, Bicycle Div./ VP Business Development 2004 to 2013

• Instrumental in establishing company’s first business strategy, creating licensing and technology

development of NuVinci technology in automotive, electric vehicle, OPE and bicycle markets.

• Led business development of a revolutionary CVT (continuously variable transmission) branded

NuVinci® and scalable for almost any vehicle. Taking a technology from an inventor's idea to

commercialization is truly a whirlwind trip and being involved from prototype to commercialization has

allowed me to create business entry strategies that include technology licensing, development

partnerships, commercial sales and sale of business segments.

• Established division to launch company’s first commercial product, creating a new brand of drivetrain –

NuVinci® - the world’s first CVT, and Harmony™ an auto-shifting system for the global bicycle market.

• Created a global business securing over 75 Bicycle brands as customers, established product

manufacturing alliances in Asia while building subsidiaries/branch offices in Europe, U.S., and China.

• Built business to a break-even path in 3 years while winning market share through disruptive products

• Automotive CRM services to over 5000 car dealerships and 10 OEM vehicle brands.

• Product Development Manager at Ford Motor Company - Automotive Components Group- based in

Dearborn and Livonia, Michigan. Responsible for a $50 million in-vehicle electronics and climate control

• Launched industry’s first in-vehicle video entertainment system.

Echlin Inc., Director -Asia Marketing/Business Development 1993 to 1998

• Established the company’s first investment in manufacturing and product licensing in China/India.

• Rationalized product sales, partnerships and sourcing opportunities for 5 group companies in brake,

electronics, and fuel delivery. Delivered in $1.5 million in component COGS savings in first year.

• Created a US based import group to leverage Asian JV manufactured product to company divisions.

Federal-Mogul, Southeast Asia Manager/US Sales 1985 to 1993

• Led the company's marketing and sales activity in Southeast Asia to the Heavy Duty, Off-Road,

Construction and Automotive Components business in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong

Kong, Korea and Philippines growing business to $15 million in revenue.
