Account Managers primary focus is to maintain relationships with Independent and Franchise dealerships of all sizes

and encourage them to buy and sell through Manheim Auto Auctions. As an Account Manager, you work closely with all

departments in the organization that touch the client and serve as a sales liaison between inside and outside sales.

Managed 700 accounts and work directly with a team of field sales consultants that are direct dealership contacts for

Manheim converting inactive clients into active clients as well as consulting with at risk clients to develop a solidified

wholesale strategy for their business. This includes Independent, Franchise, & National accounts. Utilizing web based

online and virtual consultation with clients that include selling and upselling 35 different product solutions depending on

client’s needs within assigned sales territory in an inside sales capacity. Successful at building relationships and

creating a “Best in Class” experience by being a corporate consultant to the direct client, 11 field sales team individuals

Pioneered & launched 2 startup online media advertising inside sales teams responsible for up selling online advertising

to Apartment Guide and Rentals.com multi-unit properties and property management clients. Responsibilities include

but were not limited to; coaching and developing a sales team to sell clients utilizing a consultative sales approach,

while working with our outside Account Executives to create a partnership for the company to increase revenue as the

company transitioned from a print model. Designed all initial training as well as facilitating customized curriculum to

sales team. Critical elements of this program were heavily reliant on building relationships with our outside Account

Executives, Marketing Sales Managers, as well as Regional Directors in the field working for our sister company,

Apartment Guide. The Rentals Partnership teams would set appointments for our outside Account Executives as we

transitioned from print markets to integrated online only advertising. The Rentals Partnership teams were also

responsible for achieving an incremental net gain for their assigned territories month over month by closing the

"partnered" clients on our upsell packages as well.

In February 2011 the revenue for this partnership concept was approximately $68,000 monthly billing. By December

2011, team was billing $330,000 monthly. Both month to month agreements as well as termed agreements. The

partnership was so successful, the team was reorganized to sell product specific packages ranging from $595 to $3,600

in addition to current client spend.
