Supplier Quality - Development Engineer of a $900 million Tier 1 automotive fuel system manufacture.
Position included development of new suppliers and their systems, as well as drive quality improvements with existing
suppliers. Work with new product teams during the APQP process with the customer and driving down design and
performance requirements to the supplier base. Perform APQP at the suppliers and production launch reviews /
approvals.Traveled over 60% of the time to suppliers and/or customers throughout the US, Canada, Germany, and
Mexico.

and SPC. Responsible for auditing suppliers systems and tracking supplier performance.

Quality Engineer - Reporting the director of R & D of a $60 million rivet manufacture used in Automotive and
commercial products. Worked with manufacturing to implement SPC and process improvements reducing downtime due
to tooling or machining issues.
Achievements:
• Implemented computer-based SPC on rivet mandrel Break Loads after heat-treating.
• Created procedures for third-party material analysis for conformance to customer air bag material requirements.
Amphenol Corporation – Allied Signal, Danbury, CT 1983 – 1987
Quality Supervisor – Reporting to the director of quality for an electrical connector manufacture for use in the
commercial aviation, space and military industry. Responsible for supervising 30 inspectors in receiving, plating, cable
and assembly processes and point of contact for customer source inspectors. Worked with design engineers in developing
new product requirements and suppliers with manufacturing of new products.
