Researched and drafted a shadow report with the American Civil Liberties Union regarding the human

rights violations of juveniles in American jails and prisons. Successfully advocated at the United States’

Universal Periodic Review before the Human Rights Committee in Geneva, Switzerland in March, 2014

for the Committee to include recommendations regarding juveniles accused and charged with crimes in

their Concluding Observations for the United States.

Researched, drafted, and coordinated plan to lobby policy makers to ban formula bag distribution at local

Miami hospitals. Researched and drafted an informational guide on the importance of breastfeeding for

policy makers to modify hospital requirements, specifically, drafted Miami-Dade County ordinance

aimed at decreasing infant mortality rates by 2015.

Mentored 13 to 19 year old adolescents from Liberty City court ordered or referred to this anti-recidivism
