Provided IT leadership to all levels of business management, directed the

design, implementation and support of cost effective enterprise level

business systems. Provided training to users on new applications plus

Project Manager in the implementation of the Syspro USA Enterprise Resource

Planning system. Executive member of the Senior Management Steering

Committee representing the Information Systems, Electronic Data

Interchange, ERP, and Special Projects for various departments, known for

in-depth knowledge of the IT, manufacturing and logistic business

. Hired and managed System Administrators to update the obsolete Novel

Network with Microsoft NT/2003 Servers and Microsoft Exchange Servers to

ensure all locations, including Mexico, were better equipped. Prior to

this rollout, there were two Novell servers with 5 desktop units; project

completion included implementing 20 servers and over 180 users.

. Saved $350K through the implementation of the Purchasing Module and

utilizing Syspro USA in house instead of going with another ERP system.

Purchasing Module ensured inventory was efficiently maintained because

parts were ordered automatically.

. Utilized Microwave Communications internationally instead of Fiber

Communications, savings $250K annually in overhead and long distance

phone service cost by having U.S. phone lines and extensions in the

Mexican plant.

. Implementation of Electronic Data Interchange allowed purchase orders to

be received online instead of faxed or mailed and reduced accounts

receivable, plus saved the Company in the procurement of raw material

(ordering ahead of time) and negotiating better rates, combined savings

of approximately $750K. Trading Partners include Wal-Mart, Kmart, Target,

Walgreens, plus others.

Senior Information Technology Manager / Integration Project Manager . 1999-

2005

Integrated two Enterprise Resource Planning functions (Microsoft Dynamics

and Syspro USA) systems to Syspro USA, including accounts

receivable/payable, general ledger, sales, customer service, shipping and

receiving, purchasing, procurement, scheduling, and IT. During this

transition only the shipping and receiving departments were moved from IL

to TX.

Senior Information Technology Manager / Integration Project Manager, Cont.

. Upgraded Elk Grove location from Microsoft Dynamics ERP system to Syspro

ERP system used by other locations, effectively eliminating dual

operations, saving company $500K.

. Integration effectively eliminated one I.T. department and reduced cost

of maintenance in server units, license reduction because of fewer users,

and one website, saving an additional $250K.

. Received $4K Special Bonus for the success of the Integration Project.
