OBJECTIVE

I am looking for an opportunity in an organization that will give me challenging opportunities to deliver my best in my chosen

areas of specializations and give my best to the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

MASTERS OF COMPUTER ENGINEERING - UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND BALTIMORE COUNTY (2012-DEC 2014)

BACHELORS OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING - SRM ENGINEERING COLLEGE (2008-2012)

SKILLS

PROGRAMMING: VERILOG, MATLAB, C, C++, VHDL, PYTHON

DESIGNING: ALTIUM DESIGNER, CADENCE, PSCAD, PSCPICE, SOLID WORKS

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

INFINITE BIOMEDICAL TECHNOLOGIES (May 2014 – Till date)

MORPH NEXT GENERATION

- Morph is an RFID based upper hand robotic prosthetic grip changing device.

- Redesigned the existing morph in Altium and Solid works to reduce the size and to fit most of the upper hand

prosthetic limb available in the market.

- It gave me a deep insight on the requirements and protection implemented on marketable biomedical devices.

FLEXIBLE ELECTRODE

- Worked on designing electrodes in Altium for reading EMG signals on EMG sensor for upper limb prosthetics.

BHARATH HEAVY ELECTRICAL LIMITED, TRICHY, INDIA (MAY –JUNE 2009)

- Worked with a step down transformer (11KV/5000V) installation team. The transformer supplied power to a pipe

bending machine used in constructing thermal power plants.

ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE

BRAIN SEIZURE DETECTION USING FPGA (SPRING 2014)

- A machine learning algorithm was devised for detection of brain seizure detection t ested and implemented in Verilog

in Xilinx IDE and Matlab.

- The brain seizure data was sent to the Xilinx FPGA from computer (UART) and was classified either as a seizure or

non seizure on the FPGA and returned to UART .

COLOR IMAGE TO BLACK AND WHITE (SPRING 2014)

- A Basic state machine algorithm was implemented in Verilog to convert color images to black and white in Xilinx

IDE and Matlab.

- The design was implemented in an FPGA and the image was sent and received through computer (UART).

FIRE DETECTION ROBOT (FALL 2013)

- A fire sensor was devised using X-bee microcontroller and the data was communicated to another X-bee controller

which controlled an I-robot Create.

- In case of a fire the system wo uld send an alarm and move the I-robot towards the sensor based on received signal

strength.

BLOOD GLUCOSE LEVEL SENSOR (FALL 2013)

- Fabricated a glucose sensor in a clean room and characterized it chemically. The sensor was then tested with different

concentration of glucose solution. The data was transferred to the computer using an Atmel Microcontroller and the

data was displayed in MATLAB’s graphical user interface.

CACHE MEMORY (FALL 2012)

- A cache is a storage with which the processor communicates to store data that is immediately required and

it contains of memory and register that keeps log of the data stored.

- Designed a 256 byte associative cache memory chip using cadence virtuoso layout and simulated in

VHDL, and do the layout for a cache in Cadence.

DYNAMIC CONTROL OF WIND ENERGY CONVERSION SYSTEM (SPRING 2012)

- The project was a dynamic wind conversion system which would produce maximum power by sensing

variation in wind speed. The generator was a permanent magnet synchronous generator.

- Worked as a principal embedded programmer for the decided algorithm.
