Hired on as a wiring/assembler in the production team to manufacture oil rig control

equipment for one year. Moved to warehouse as lead materials coordinator for 4

months and was approached to join the production planning team where we were

responsible for entering projects into our operating system from the order entry

clerk. Work with project management, engineering group, purchasing, warehouse,

p roduction and quality control to ensure the projects are released on time and

manufactured in a timely manner to meet required ship dates. Enfer planning bill of

materials for purchasing to see material requirements for that project. Enter and

maintain shop orders from engineering changes or date changes on projects to be

started by production and provide warehouse a list of materials to be pulled for

specific projects. Follow up with purchasing and warehouse on shortages until all

materials are received and given to the project. Assist purchasing, production and

quality control with bill of material, drawing issues that need to be resolved. Fill out

packing slips request shipping department to arrange trucking to deliver to one of

our vendors or a completed product to the customer. Reconcile all materials on a

shop order for shipped projects, end shop orders ans submit to accounting for

i nvoicing and closing of projects. Assist accounting with issues on projecst to be

closed. Create and maintain manufacturing bill of material structures for use in lean

manufacturing.
