JOB RESPONSIBILITIES - PAINTING/COATING

. Inspection of Paint materials and Verify the Storage conditions.

. Inspection of Blast cleaning Equipment, Compressors, Abrasives Prior to

Blasting.

. Weather Monitoring such as Air Temperature, Relative Humidity, Dew point

temperature etc.

. Verify the Cleanliness of surface area.

. Verify the qualification of Blaster/Painters.

. Ensure Protection of sensitive components and ensure traceability of

material before blasting.

. Surface preparation Inspection (Shot, Garnet, Grit, Copper Slag etc.)

. Anchor Pattern/Profile check of the blasted surface and ensure profile is

as per project specification.

. Ensure traceability of the Material at all stages of Painting and during

blasting.

. Verify Soluble Salt Contamination on Blasted surface

. Post Blast Surface cleanliness Inspection.

. Ensure mixing and thinning as per Manufacturer's Technical Data Sheet.
