T-SQL, MySQL, Java, Business Intelligence (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS), C, Matlab, ERWin, SQL
Server, Html, CSS, .Net, MS Excel
WORK EXPERIENCE
SQL Server BI Developer, Taikang Life Insurance, Beijing, China 07/2010 to 06/2011
• Identifying and translating business requirement into data models, creating and managing
scheme objects such as tables, views, clusters, Indexes, Procedures, triggers and maintained
Referential Integrity.
• Developed and deployed data transfers packages to the appropriate destinations, and created
SSIS packages to extract data from OLTP to OLAP systems and Scheduled Jobs to call the
packages and Stored Procedures using SSIS.
• Created reports from data warehouse using SSRS for analysis of data.
• Created SSIS package to load data from Flat File to Flat File and Flat File to SQL Server
using Lookup, Fuzzy Lookup, Derived Columns and Conditional Split
• Defined measure groups and further tuned dimensions attributes for a cube, created and
deployed cubes to an instance of analysis services on the development server.
SQL Server BI Developer, TianAn Insurance, Zhengzhou, China 04/2009 to 05/2010
• Designed and developed ER diagrams (Physical and Logical using ERwin data modeler) and
mapping the data into database objects.
• Created stored procedures, views, triggers and constrains to implement the database
consistency and integrity.
• Implemented indexes such as clustered index, non-clustered index, covering index
appropriately on data structures to achieve faster data retrieval.
• Created SSIS package to extract, transform and load (ETL) data from different sources into
destination target, like data warehouse, Flat file, Excel, OLE DB, using SQL Server
Integration Services.
• Designed and developed different type of reports including: Drill through reports, Sub
reports, Drill down reports based on business requirement using SSRS.
PROJECT EXPERIENCE
Basic Bank System Spring, 2013
• Designed and implemented a basic bank system in database.
• Using Join, Aggregate functions, triggers, and views in SQL Server to get and calculate
information from tables and keep the database efficiency and safety
• Using SSIS to transfers packages to the appropriate destinations.
• Created Drill Down, Drill Through and Sub Reports for analysis of data using SSRS
Student Grade Management System Fall, 2012
• Designed and created a student information database
• Built the relationship and constraints between each table; created indexes on the tables to
improve and optimize the performance; created the view to keep the database safe
• Using join, aggregate function, variable, string function to query different information.
Casino Dice Game Fall, 2012
• Designed a casino dice game that allowed computer and player to rotate to play and roll
two dices at once.
• Build the class to catch every situation in order to improve the integrity and efficiency of
the object.
• The system was implemented in Java. Also GUI of the game was developed.
Human Gender Detection Spring, 2012
• Designed a system to identify tweeter user gender using image and text information using
C and Matlab.
• Analyzed the information of text and recognized human face to decide the gender of
users.
• Built the database of the images and text among different users using Matlab.
Base Station Signal Enhancement Fall, 2011
• Designed a system to boost the base station signal.
• The system located the weak signal area first, then identified the causes such as antenna
angle, base station power etc.
• Multiple solutions were used to improve the signal strength, like to improve the power of
the station, change angle of antenna, and increase the number of antenna.
SELECTED COURSES
• Database, Java Language, Digital Signal Process, Mathematical Statistics,
Communications Theory, Computer Network, Linear Systems, C Language
