III. EMPLOYMENT

--Garanti Bank (BBVA partner) -04/2011-03/2014. I was a Senior Specialist software

developer. I developed core banking system and maintained it using CA Gen (formerly

COOL:GEN), PL/1 and COBOL, especially on Teller Operations, Customer Management. I

implemented batch programs, new screens of the core modules, and also designed the

database tables on DB2 and mainframe environment. I was the only person who was

responsible of core banking system ( deposit, time deposit accounts and teller operations)

and customer management of Garanti Bank Romania. Here are the projects that I was

involved in

I added or changed functionalities to ATM business programs of GB Romania such as

adding accounting templates, changing accounting itself, reciepts, branch properties

or currency conversion.

I added approval ability to customer management screens ( both personal and SME,

communication, address, email/internet screens), and created approve function

screens. I leaded two software developers in this project.

I took place in Retail Credit Application system for scoring, workflow development,

and sending letters to customers.

I wrote new programs for giving interests to accounts before maturity date.

I totally reorganized account maintanance fee batches, JCLs and screens. I leaded

three software developers.

I maintanied account closing, manuel interest accruing screens, all teller operation

screens such as depositing money, withdrawing money, currency exchange and

arbitrage screens.

I made a big project about adding approval ability to the above screens and also

maintained core ATM and internet programs of these processes.

I added document scanning property to all teller operations and customer

management screens for security purposes and created the integration with

document module screens.

I was the only person who was changing the core program producing MT940 format

extraction document for Inditex Textile Group in the module of cash management.

I was developing Garanti Romania's new time deposit account products.

I was a member of the product Garanti Bank's frame code reading from an iphone

application project with Seamless company in Sweden and developed the main

screens of the creating seamless account and maintaining the product, also changed

the core PL/1 program communicating with Seamless for managing customers and

informing them with letter or email.

--ABank A.Ş. (Commercial Bank of Qatar partner) I worked as a Project Leader. -03/2009-

04/2011- I developed Retail Credit Application System and the system workflow, especially

automatic status inquiry, credit risk scoring and riskmeter modules in collabaration with Finar

A.Ş. I implemented financial statements of renting batches (both data grouping and xml

forming) to the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Finance using Oracle PL/SQL. I maintained

customer management system; I resolved the problems and I developed new inquires. I

implemented the personal loans data batch that send information to SGK using Oracle

PL/SQL. I developed the screens and programs of insurance policies of Ray, Anadolu and

Fortis Insurance companies that are stored in our database using COOL:GEN. I was a part

of the ATM & Debit Card project, I did the conversion of old debit card data to Provus A.Ş. I

developed the new card, update card and card pool screens and the batches that send and

get information of these processes between Provus and Abank A.Ş using COOL:GEN.

--Military Service for TSK (Erzurum Kolordu OBI) -08/2008-01/2009-

-- Yapı Kredi IT.(UniCredit partner) -10/2007-08/2008- I was working as a Senior Software

Developer-Software System Analyst-. I was implementing note data management and

branch application programs using Toad and Oracle PL/SQL. I was developing electronic

account summary accounting reports. I was maintaining core banking screens using

Javascript. Also I worked on some Oracle Forms screens for performance gaining.

Furthermore, I maintained reports for dormant accounts that would be transferred to the

Central Bank of Turkey. I developed the report which lists faulty faxes and emails of the

customers account extracts sent daily to the customers with their reasons using

BusinessObjects in collaboration with BankSoft A.Ş

I was working as a software engineer. I was implementing server software in Gnu C with

Eclipse IDE on Linux OS. I designed Power Quality Database in PostgreSQL.

I was developing client software in Java with JBuilder on Solaris using Swings. I used Clear

Case during OOA and OOD cycles and CVS during concurrent code development -OOP
