standards and led as the team lead the migration team through the DACCS
2004 conversion. Developed project plans for multiple operating system and
related software upgrades. Led a team of several members in testing these

COBOL and assembler. Interfaced with various levels of management in

programs from scratch as well as modified others as required for incidents
utilizing advanced SQL and techniques for performance. I operated in an
advisory function for fellow team members some of which were new to DB2.
Designed and coded a message-processing utility to automatically handle the
generation of exception reports for the reporting team. I analyzed reports
for performance using Visual Explain and analyzed batch jobs for
performance and made recommendations to automate the restart of DB2 batch
program abends.

Performed extensive systems analysis and designed and developed systems and
enhancements as they related to the EDP GUI Server and repository. Led a
comprehensive offsite benchmarking effort and performance comparison with a
competing product. This entailed the research and design of batch COBOL
II/DB2-based programs to insert and update rows within multiple tables with
Referential Integrity. Designed and modeled multiple DB2 databases with
complex table relationships to see the impact upon performance. Presented
the results of the benchmark to management, which resulted in performance
improvements being introduced into the product. Developed in assembler and
C++. Extensiveley utilized the Remedy Incident Management System.

Made enhancements to the EDP (Enterprise Data Propagation) product. This
product propagates bulk data (DataMove) and changed data (Change DataMove)
from legacy (DB2, IMS and VSAM) databases to DB2 and client/server
databases (Oracle and SQL/Server, etc.). Installed and customized the
Datamove and Change DataMove products for various source and target
databases. Developed in assembler and C++.
Performed DB2 and IMS DBA functions in setting up the benchmarking
environments as well as worked with various flavors of UNIX to accommodate
moving data to Oracle.
Performed extensive performance benchmarking for BMC marketing group on the
DataMove product utilizing all source and target databases and options.
Developed a MS/Project plan, metrics and methodology for the benchmarking
effort.

Managed a team of 7 that performed Y2K renovations for the trucking
industry.
Worked on CICS, COBOL II and batch assembler systems and programs.
Thoroughly analyzed existing systems and created roadmaps for their 21st.
Century-enabling. Coded in COBOL II, assembler, CICS, DB2 and DL/I.
Utilized Viasoft, Smarttest, Expediter and Exchange tools. Was immersed in
the entire Y2K lifecycle: analysis, specifications, coding and validation.
Responsible for managing the team, customer presentations, system tests,
walkthroughs, project plans and hiring. Overcame numerous obstacles to
testing. The project was completed ahead of schedule. Interfaced with
offshore team members who were matrixed to us.

Performed extensive conversion systems analysis and developed high-level
and detailed designs, detailed system and program flowcharts in Visio and a
MS/Project work plan for the team.
Rewrote the Maintenance Utilities system in assembler. Rewrote the
proprietary database code to utilize new DB2 databases as well as converted
all online programs to access DB2 via static SQL. Wrote a DB2 dynamic SQL
builder and executor system to address the need to perform multiple queries
on up to nine data columns in multiple DB2 tables on the fly.

. Project Manager, client/server/mainframe development for an Intranet-
based application called Customer Dimensions. This was a customer
profiling/sales and marketing application. The technology used was DB2,
COBOL II, CICS, SQL/Server 6.5, VB 5.0 and MS/Active Server Pages. The
project also entailed implementing Crystal Reports.
. Thoroughly trained in Data Warehousing technology (6 months), principles
and best practices especially as it relates to VLDB (Very Large
databases) in DB2. Interfaced with the DBA on the design of the
databases in SQL/Server.
. Was responsible for leading a team of 12, scheduling, tracking (via
MS/Project 4.1), project presentations and hardware/software acquisition.
. Interfaced with all levels of management and personnel (developers, QA,
Business Analysts, training, hardware/software support, help desk, DBA's,
etc.) including Vice Presidents on status of project and deliverables.
. Implemented new software baseline and enhancements in the Arthur Anderson
H2000 SDLC methodologies which were waterfall and iterative

. Mainframe Project Lead on a 2.5 million dollar reengineering project
which consisted of thirty-five (35) people over a period of 12
months.
. Principle designer, coder and technical project lead for the Telops
Systems Contact Database (TSCDB). This is an ISPF/COBOL II/assembler/DB2
based system that interfaces with IBM's InfoMan product to assist in
problem management. This system was ultimately over 50,000 lines of code
and took a year to develop.
. InfoMan administrator responsible for the Enterprise Support Center's NSC
and all phases of problem, change and configuration management in which
GTEDS had customized over 5000 screens.
. Performed software reviews and made recommendations.
. Directed three (3) contractors on the initial TSCDB project.
. Performed stress and performance benchmark testing as well as tuning and
optimization.
. Interfaced with both MVS and UNIX operating systems and successfully
dealt with cross platform interdependencies and issues.
. Codesigner of the UNIX application and redundant fault tolerant servers
and interfaces between MVS, UNIX and OS/2 platforms via TCP/IP sockets
running on these platforms.

. Modified the COBOL II, CICS and DB2 HR Salary Planning System
extensively.
. Researched, debugged and enhanced a 6000 line Assembler Application
Programming Interface (API) to IBM's InfoMan product.
This API allows users to add, update and inquire upon
problem and change management records from a batch environment.
. Coded and tested a 30,000 line Assembler/COBOL II/DB2 automated
operations facility. The purpose of the Callout facility is to
provide automatic paging/messaging to support personnel when the help
desk opens InfoMan incident records. This system was designed and coded
to work with generic problem/call management packages. It is a complex,
yet flexible system.

. Transitioned from AGCC (see below) due to the fact that AGCC changed
their outsourcing company.
. Involved in a data center migration from Martin Marrietta in Orlando, FL.
Tasks included: Migrated the online (CICS and online program product)
environment to an equivalent environment onsite at the new Tampa, FL data
center.
. Performed a complete migration analysis of what software AGCC used and
what subset of that was Martin Marietta proprietary code. Made
replacement recommendations.
. Completed a 16-page migration plan for the online environment.
. Wrote an SMF job accounting program in assembler language, which is used,
for extensive SMF job accounting/billing.
. Wrote complex assembler programs to convert our CICS security from CICS
internal security to RACF security. Backup RACF Administrator for the
company. Installed, customized and maintained IBM Data Interchange EDI
software for the company.

. Analyzed, designed and implemented a complete SMS DASD monitoring system
in COBOL. This system used the SMS data and reported on various
applications and their production and test usage of DASD.
. Managed the $1 million dollar per-month Martin Marietta outsourcing
account. Martin handled all of Anchor's mainframe CPU, DASD, tape and
Networks. This included monitoring consumption, researching problems,
acting as a liaison and operating as a sentry.
. Responsible for Eight (8) CICS regions: (6) CICS, 3.1.1 and (2) CICS 1.7
. Directed and planned the migration of (6) CICS 1.7 regions to CICS 3.1.1
. Directed a conversion of about 28GB of DASD storage to SMS and HSM
management.
. Directed a very large 4th GL implementation of a product called "The
Decision Analyzer" which supported about 50 users in ad-hoc reporting and
more under CICS.
. Managed a data management employee who reported directly to me.
. Responsible for capacity planning and tuning of CICS.
. Responsible for the CICS e-mail system (SYSM), TMON 9.0, Intertest,
