Project Details

Project 1: INCA

• The Blade Server system code-named as INCA (INtegrated Cluster Architecture) is

high density server system targeted to provide cluster architecture for HPC

applications.

• Contribution: Testing and validation of INCA NCBs and debugging of boards.

Solving customer issues like FAN OUT readings issue, sudden PSU behavior with AC

fluctuations.

Project 2: NEWSCA

• NEWSCA is a HPC platform designed for the Extreme Computing market. The main

HW challenges are to balance price/performance ratio and to reduce power usage.

• Contribution: CMB board bring-ups. Traffic Stress Test using cable for data flow

speed at FDR rates. Eye-testing, reboot test, memory test and power circuit check.

Project 3: DESIGN OF A GENERIC FLOATING POINT MULTIPLIER UNIT

• The main task of this project is to reduce the number of gates and to utilize less area.

• The design is written using VHDL code and mapped to FPGA using Spartan3.

• Multiplication algorithm is used where the multiplication is divided into smaller

multiplication units. The individual results are then combined to get the final result.

Achievements and Hobbies

• Certifications- ILP certificate, UCF certificate with 74%.

• Cleared SSB interview for IAF.

• Stood 3rd in inter-school social-science quiz competition

• Won 1st place in various athletic running races and cluster level Kho-Kho champion
