Summer internships at TATA CUMMINS LIMITED, Jamshedpur.

I worked in Tata cummins limited, Jamshedpur for 6 weeks as a summer trainee.my project was the

“FIND IT FIX IT”.in this project I’ve to find the problems that the workers are nowadays facing

during working in the cylinder head business unit plant like ergonomics problems, safety concern, etc.

that gave me the the opportunity to interact with workers, managers. i’ve learned about “SIX-

SIGMA LOTO” and other safety parameters used in the plant.

PROJECT SUMMARY

Hydraulic boom barrier:

Hydraulic boom barrier is used at the traffic for entering/exits of the vehicles. I’ve used the cam-follower

mechanism for the working of the boom barrier. The major advantages about this project is that it’s work

without using any kind of fuels, electricity .Using a simple hydraulic mechanism this project didn’t cost us

much but it’s very much useful in the modern life for the vehicles.

Hydro jet:

In this project, I’ve been worked with a very good team members for the making of hydro jet.in this project

we’ve made a hydro jet/water rocket can cover a horizontal distance of more than 75m by using a simple

working principle of rocket.

EXTRA -CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Participated in technical tech fest gyan manthan, lpu for the robomania workshop.

Worked as the technical member of RISC, lpu.

Co-ordinator of the job-fest: 2013 held at lpu.

Participated in the hydrojet event at lpu.

Participated in the MICROSOFT workshop in 2011 at lpu.
