Job Description:
- Coordinate the start-up of project including preparation of
Project Management Plans, Occupational Health, Safety
and Environmental Plans, Establishment of Site Facilities,
Provision of Project Budget and appropriate Costing
Format, and Organization of the Project’s Record System.
- Develop, formulate and implement working policies,
s ystem and procedures to govern quarry operations and
equipment operation maintenance as would ensure
c onsistency with over all company, objectives, satisfaction
of all government laws, closed coordination of quarry with
m aintenance operation and safety of personnel.
- Identify resources required for equipment and labor while
ensuring its full utilization and optimization.
- Implement the quarry plans, which include the optimum
utilization of all quarry equipment.
- Undertake regular inspections of the quarry site, condition
of the benches, stockpile and mine roads and check on the
progress of quarry development and daily operations, and
ensure the specifications of development plans are
followed.
- Ensure the gathering of operational data, equipment
s ervice data, and other of relevance to planning and
c ontrolling of operations are complete, current and store
appropriately.
2. People Management
- Direct and supervise subordinates, allocates workloads to
them and ensures that works assignments are carried out.
- Motivate Project Team to work together in the most
efficient manner.
Mitigate project team conflict and communication problems
- on time.
- Conduct effective performance evaluations and mentor
those with less experience through performance
improvement counseling.
Approve project team personnel’s request for leave,
- overtime, time reports and related forms.
Plan and implement skill development program of project

team.
- Support the implementation of the job-related aspects of
any company initiated programs.
- Comply with and help enforce the company’s Code of
Conduct.
3. Occupational Health and Safety Environment
- Actively spearhead in the campaign of “accident
prevention” within the project.
