I am a university graduate. I am a graduated from the Higher Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages in Havana in 1991. I have a B.A. degree in both Spanish and English Languages and Literatures. Especialized in translation and interpretation. I speak basic French as well.

I have also post graduate diplomas/ an working experience in PR, Marketing, Sales, Gastronomy, airline supervisor, and airport traffic representative. Warehouse supervisor and frontal fork loader operator.The biggest segment of my working carreer has been as a tour guide.

I began my carreer as a translator and interpreter for CUBANACAN EXPRESS.s.a( It is the air service head office for the CUBANACAN CORP. s.a)*.

It was there that I took and passed general courses in Sales and as an airline supervisor. I carried out that job for two years. I worked for charter airlines such as Nation Air, Royal Air from Canada and Air Europe and Lauda Air from Italy. I represented my office in the annual intrenational fairs of Havana and the International fair of tourism in 1991,92 and93.

In 1995 I started to work as a non-professional part-time tour guide, translator and interpreter for the Cuban Institute of Frienship with the People. Known after the accronym of ICAP. Its travel agency, AMISTUR.s.a. is especialized on people to people trips and tours . It was while working there, I took and passed a course in tour guiding, thus becoming a professional tour guide. It was there as well I worked as a warehouse supervisor and frontal loader driver or operator.

As a professional tour guide I continued as a part-time one for approximatly 2 more years at (AMISTUR.sa) and full time for 5 years( at Cubanacan Travel agency), in all 13 years( 1995-2008). I made tours for important tour operators from the UK, USA, Canada such as, travel exchange, Saga Uk, Kwoni UK, Kwoni Scandinavia and many others.

In my time as a part- time tour guide I worked for two years in the PR. Department at National Aquarium Of Cuba.(1998-2000). And, as a translator and interpreter for the Center of Promotion of Investments at the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Investment.

I have been as well private language teacher for English or Spanish for more than 10 years.

Since I am living in Croatia I have not been able to find a regular job,( and I mean a job supported by a contract with all the pertinent duties and benefis).

By word arrangement and daily pay in hand I have delivered several presentations on Cuban Culture and traditions at differentl private languge schools in Zagreb, I have delivered flyers an made promotion work for two seasons for a restaurant and a pizzeria

In my free time a dedicate a grate deal of time to self- preparation by listening tapes and practicing interpretation and reading and translating texts.

I can drive but I don t have at present ti a valid international driver permit since ny Cuban driver permit expired back in 2012.
