Cameron comprises of three Strategic Business Units (Drilling and

Production Systems; Valves and Measurements; and Process & Compression

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The goal of the Business Object (BOBJ) Strategy is to provide information

as a service to the Cameron user community, and it will be a critical

framework for delivering the Optimums ethos of "One company, one way".

Business Intelligence is often described as the process of increasing the

competitive advantage of a business by intelligent use of available data in

decision making. Cameron's BI Strategy will be applied globally to promote

consistent and normalized information as an enabler for business

improvement, and to leverage the standard business content and architecture

structures delivered by SAP Net Weaver as Industry Leading Practice.

Roles and responsibilities

. Worked Extensively on Data Warehouse Workbench and customized info

objects,

infocubes, DSOs, Data Sources, DTPs, Transformations and

multiproviders.

. Set up periodic Data loads from legacy system (flat files)

Informatica.

This project is developed for Brand Mart, which is one of the organizations

that sell various numbers of products this project was mainly developed for

Retail Sales Analysis. The client required sales analysis country wise,

zone wise, branch wise, product wise, customer wise, bill wise etc. The

client gathers the transactional data from different channels like Super

Markets, Furniture Showrooms, and Kids wear mart, Garment Stores etc.

Roles and responsibilities

. Worked extensively on Analysis, development, testing and production

deployments of universes and reports on windows environments.

. Involved in designing Web Intelligence Reports using SAP Business

Objects XI 3.1 SP1.

. Involved in development and Maintenance of Business Objects Universes.
