OBJECTIVE:

my technical, leadership skills acquired while serving in the United States Marine Corp, Development

Engineer, Development Engineering Supervisor, Design Engineering Supervisor, Reliability Engineering

PROFILE:

Served in the United States Marine Corps honorably discharged as a Non-Commissioned Officer in 1992.

Began my career in wiring beginning in 1993 with for Alcoa Fujikura limited as a bulk wire rep and test

engineer. Began working for Siemens Automotive in 2000 as a Design Verification Engineering Supervisor

and in 2001 as Design Engineering Supervisor. Continued in the position of Design Engineering Supervisor

after the Siemens / Yazaki joint venture in 2002 and then Yazaki in 2006. Served as the Reliability

Engineering Manager for Yazaki – Ford Business Unit beginning in 2008 until assuming the position of

B299N Vehicle Program Manager in April of 2011.

EXPERIENCE:

April 2012 – Present

Global Program Manager for Yazaki North America responsible for global delivery of the Ford B2E

platform wiring with various new vehicle lines in the U.S., Brazil, Mexico, Germany, Russia, India, China,

Thailand and Taiwan. Responsible for overall program delivery to include, cost, timing, manufacturing,

quality, logistics and sales.

March 2011 – April 2012

Vehicle Program Manager for Yazaki North America with focus on achieving all financial, quality and

customer satisfaction targets for the North American Ford Fiesta program as regional lead for the Global

Ford B299 platform lead by Ford of Europe while supporting the alignment of global B platform via the

Ford World Wide Strategy forum and WWS Lead.

June 2008 – March 2011

Advanced Quality and Reliability Engineering Manager for Yazaki North & Central America. Managed

and defined the reliability engineering budget and Advanced Quality Engineering Team, served as a

company Recall and Safety Specialist, and provided direction to the Design Verification, PPAP (Production

Part Approval Process), Warranty Reduction Team and Advanced Manufacturing activities to achieve their

established goals and metrics. Served as the YNCA Quality Lead as part of the Ford World Wide Strategy

Team ensuring alignment and coordination of overall quality targets for Yazaki’s Ford Global

Manufacturing sites.

reliability and quality targets. Supported the Siemens and later the SY Systems Technology Global Design

Verification Lead located in Cologne, Germany. Lead successful Design Verification testing while co-

located in Tatui, Brazil in Support of the SY Systems Technology Brazilian Design Verification

Engineering Team.

Wire manufacturing rep. supplying bulk wiring to AFL manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and Mexico.

RECENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

Successfully delivered and launched the B515 program in the Brazil, China and India markets achieving

internal standards for profitability while achieving in excess of $20 per vehicle savings for Job1 plus 90 day

implementation resulting in excess of $5,000,000 USD in customer savings.

Achieved year over year warranty improvements for electrical distribution system wiring on Ford F-150,

Ford Fusion, Mercury Milan, Lincoln MKS programs resulting in $120,000 payout from Ford Motor

Company to Yazaki North America via Ford / Yazaki Warranty Reduction Program sharing agreement.

Successfully launched the 2011 Ford F-150, Ford Fiesta, Ford Fusion, Ford Fusion Hybrid, Mercury Milan,

and Lincoln MKS platforms with no OEM stop build / stop shipments or major launch concerns while

serving as Global Advanced Manufacturing Lead. Lead launch readiness events for all Ford Business Unit

manufacturing locations located in Nicaragua, Mexico, The Philippines and Indonesia along with the

Advanced Manufacturing Teams from both YNCA and plant Advanced Manufacturing Management.

Between 2009 and 2010 achieved Ford Q1 status in four new wire harness manufacturing facilities for Ford

Motor Company – for the Ford Fiesta, Ford Fusion Hybrid and Ford F-150 programs located in Nicaragua

and Mexico.
