Main Study of 6.6kV switch gear, interlocks, tripping and closing schemesat

Project Kayamkulam

Description The study deals with the 6.6 kv SWGR system available at NTPC, Kayamkulam. All

the auxilliary equipments required for the smooth running of prime movers connected

to generators are fed directly or indirectly through this bus. Hence, the plant would

be practically dead if 6.6kV busbar fails to supply. The study deals with the analysis

of this SWGR system and explaining its interlocks, tripping and closing of main

breakers such that uninterrupted supplies available at the bus all the time,except

during a fault in the system or when the system is taken into manual mode..

Mini Project Stepper Motor Control using Microcontroller

Description The objective of this project was to control the stepper motor using microcontroller.

The microcontroller is interfaced with a keypad and LCD. Using the keypad, the user

can input the step of rotation. LCD is used to help the user to enter the values at

right time. The program is written in C language and it is burnt to microcontroller,

ATMEGA 16, with the help of the application software AVR studio.
