1313th Engineer Unit Family Readiness Group Chairman
•
o Family Readiness Group is a military support group for Units across the United
States. I began with the Unit in Franklin, IN in 2011 as a volunteer for event
planning. In 2012 I was asked to become the Treasurer because of the financial
background I carry. This consisted of managing our funds as well as maintaining
our financial records. I also assisted with all event planning. September 2012 I
was approached by the Captain of the 1313th Engineers and offered the
Chairman position. As the Chairman my responsibilities are to coordinate with our
other support officers and commanding officers our budget, events, donations,
networking, marketing, troop support, continuing education, family education, and
deployment preparedness
