Dear Sir/Madam,
It is with great interest that I am forwarding this as an open application. I have
recently completed M.Sc. in Petroleum Geology and Petroleum Geophysics
Program at University of Oslo, Norway. I am interested in any opportunity in
your company whether longer term or short term.
I have worked on projects which include 2D & 3D seismic data interpretation,
reservoir modeling, well log interpretation, processing of seismic data,
sedimentology, reservoir geology and geological field excursions. These
projects and my master thesis enabled me to enhance my practical
knowledge in the field of geosciences. While pursuing my master degree at
University of Oslo, I have participated in unique field course called Svalex
where I developed skills of working in team as well as the ability to perform
tasks individually.
During my master from university of the Punjab I have studies about the
casing and drilling methodology in petroleum engineering course.
I have also worked as a trainee geologist with M/S “Directorate General Mines
and Minerals Govt. of the Punjab” there I have been involved in Underground
coal gasification and Iron ore projects. My work there involve litho -structural
mapping and monitor the drilling of the project site and to gather information
from different research institutes and also to present and discuss all relevant
detail with project director.
To get a job opportunity within your organization can provide me the better
opportunity to improve my skills and will also provide m e the better learning
and social platform. I also consider myself a suitable candidate with flexibility
& team working skills. Therefore, I request you to please have a look at my
CV.
