• Support Team for Active Recreation (STAR)

o Adaptive Water Skiing Clinic 2007-2012- Coordinated participation in adaptive kayaking, adaptive

water skinning; and boat riding activates for fifty-three participants. Duties include scheduling

participants, outfitting participants and managing the flow of waterfront traffic. Assisted with on site

registration including colleting activity fees, obtaining liability released, obtaining medical history,

and administering summery surveys

o Cultural Arts Day 2010,1011- Assisted with improv acting, one stroke painting, water color, creative

writing, music, clay modeling, making greeting cards, and creative movement (dance)

o SNAP Group-In conjunction with CTRS/LRT lead or assist facilitation of weekly group

activities designed to help rehabilitation patients achieve treatment goals including but not

limited to safety, community reentry, fall prevention, following directions, decision making,

coping and adjustment to disability, stigma, and identifying leisure interest

o Aquatic Therapy Practicum - Shadow PTA and CTRS/LRT during aquatic therapy sessions

working with prenatal and stroke patients. Participated in aquatic activates that focused on

compensatory motor skills, balance, mobility, range of motion, and stress reduction of

individuals with a rage of disabilities and/or functional impairments. Attended community

based Ai Chi classes.
