PROJECT DURING GRADUTION

Final year project:

“Real time tariff based management of distributed generation utilizing solar PV panel.”

Abstract:

Our project include work related to management of active and reactive power exchange between a

distributed generation (DG) source and the grid to which it is connected; for improved utilization of

electricity generated by the DG source such as solar energy. This is based on the recently introduced

Availability Based Tariff (ABT) concept for the consumer loads, where conventional power grid is available.

In situations, when, the grid power is available at high cost during high electrical tariff, locally generated

power from solar is utilized for consumer loads or even excess power can be fed back to the grid in order to

earn financial benefits; while during low electrical tariff, power generated is utilized for consumer loads or

to charge batteries. When dc active power source is unavailable system can be utilized as STATCOM for

reactive power compensation. Also system can be utilize for voltage control, loss compensation, energy

imbalance etc.

8 8 8 LED Cube, Control by 8051 Microcontroller. LED Cube + Controller Circuit (8051 Board) +

Driver Circuit design + Driver Circuit hardware made by self.

Floating Display using Dot matrix display with help of Arduino Microcontroller.

Water level indicator with Electrical Pump control.

Servo motor control using MATLAB.
