Bachelor in Power Plant Engineering (1994) from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. Have 18 +

years’ experience in the field of commissioning & Testing, Operation & maintenance of Boiler

and Power Plant equipment.

Have expertise in commissioning of Sliding Pressure Superitical (SPSC) Unit. Recently

Commissioned NTPC Barh Unit-4, 660 MW Boiler, where worked as an Indian expat with BHEL

& end customer NTPC. Headed all commissioning activities and interacted with BHEL in all

project activities right from the beginning.

Worked as Head of Commissioning in ALSTOM India Ltd, Boiler group, leading numerous

Commissioning projects right from the start Planning & Organizing to the end of the project-

hand over & contract close out.

Knowledge to develop all commissioning procedures, Standard Operating Procedure,

Performance Test Procedures . Recently developed all Commissioning Procedures & O&M

Procedures for Supercritical Units of 2X660MW Barh-II, 2X880 MW, APGENCO

Commissioning, functional checkouts of all equipment and controls including component

Operation Tuning, Setting of Pulverizer and Air Flow
