Currently serving as the Maintenance and Engineering Manager. Major
accomplishments include the installation of a Ten unit Man Roland direct
drive perfecting press, installation of an HP Indigo 10000-Digital press,
installation of Bobst and Ijima Die Cutters, and the installation of a ten
station Muller Martini stitcher line. Numerous press and folder upgrades. I
manage all Environmental Compliance activities including Air Permitting,
Waste disposal and record keeping.
THE SHERIDAN PRESS, HANOVER PA. 3/04 -

Primary project involved the specifications and construction of the
facilities $5.2MM plant and two story office expansions. Selected and
interviewed construction firms, selected final vendor, initiated design
changes, and managed the project from initial demolition to final
occupancy. Project was completed well below budget. My safety and
environmental responsibilities include all permitting activities for new
press lines and federal and state compliance activities. I directed the
safety committee. There was a 20% reduction in recordable accidents during
my tenure. Certified lift truck driver trainer.
R.R.D. DIRECT, WHEELING, IL. 12/98

Served as the Engineering manager for R.R. Donnelley's Direct Marketing
Group facilities in Wheeling Illinois. Plant produced personalized direct
mail products. Job duties during my tenure included managing the facilities
Engineering, Maintenance, CI, and Quality Assurance departments, along with
responsibility for the facility's safety and environmental compliance
activities. Major accomplishments over the five year period included:
Development of Industry leading 16 head Scitex 3600 in-line imaging
capacity
Installation of four Scitex 3600 systems including angle bar and
drive system
Converted the division's imaging files from data tapes to fiber
optics sharply reducing running waste
Unit additions to G-14 press line
Redesign and upgrades to in-line diecutters to allow for closed end
mailer production
Gap reduction on G-14 press line
Rebuild of M-110 press line, two unit addition, conversion to double
we, splicer additions
Conversion to film less environment, CTP additions, Dust removal

BANTA DIRECT MARKETING GROUP, CHICAGO, IL. 3/93-12/98
Engineering Manager for Banta Direct Marketing plant in Elk Grove Village,
Illinois. Plant produces direct mail and printed insert pieces. Duties
included the management of the plant's 21 man Maintenance Department as
well as the facility's two man Scitex Technician Group. Sole responsibility
for the plant's Environmental compliance Activities including the
permitting for eight heat-set press lines. Projects included:
Justification, Purchase, Installation and start up of Ten-unit double
web G-14 press line with in-line
Conversion of a single web M-110 press line into a double web ten
unit press line.

Plant Engineer/Maintenance Manager: This plant was specifically designed
for the production of scratch off lottery tickets. Employment began during
the early phases of the plant's construction. Served as the construction
manager for the facility. Installed and started up Zerand roll-to-roll
rotogravure press line. Installed, tested, and permitted 20,000 scfm MTO
Thermal Oxidizer. Hired and trained Maintenance crews. Established parts
inventories, vendor contacts, and the plants preventive maintenance
program. Installed and started up Scitex 3600 in-line imaging equipment.
DITTLER BROTHERS, ATLANTA GEORGIA 3/86-1/91
Maintenance manager and plant engineer for the Atlanta plant. Plant
produced direct mail and air line products. Supervised the dismantling of
the sheet fed operations and the elimination of the remote warehousing
operations. Removal of Baker Perkins Gemini press and the installation of a
double web M-1000 press line with full in-line finishing capacity.
Installed a three web Hantscho press line designed to incorporate both
Admark and Scitex personalization equipment. Designed wet gluer and
finishing line for the production of air line ticket jackets. Installed 529-
ton centrifugal chiller system. Managed numerous cost reduction, energy
reduction, and safety projects. Served as Safety and environmental Manager.
Selected Sotham employee of the year in 1989.
NCR, MOUNT JOY, PA. 3/82-3/86
Plant Engineer/Maintenance manager for this business forms production
plant. Duties included press installations and modifications. Installation
of new style closed end mailer and hot spot carbon application equipment.
Served as night shift plant manager, scheduling manager, and Maintenance
manager. Managed the facilities environmental activities. Numerous energy
and cost reduction projects.
BOISE CASCADE, MANY LA.
3/78-3/82
Engineer for two plywood plants a sawmill and a tie mill. Managed two plant
expansions totaling 350,000 sq. ft. Installed two GP layup lines, two wood
waste boiler systems and modified the facilities trim removal system.
Served as finishing and shipping Manager. Facility shipped by both truck
and rail.
