safe and smooth operations of the units

as per market specifications and shell standards
. Day to day optimization of the products slate to improve the Refinery
margins
. Accountable for ensuring the process safety of the units to meet
enterprise goal zero
. Liaise in with E&S and planning department to ensure security supply
of the feed and products and to improve refinery margins

Attock Oil Refinery is the pioneer of crude oil refining in the country
processing crudes from12 to 65 API. It fulfills 50% of the total petroleum
requirements of the northern areas of Pakistan
Responsibilities:
. To prepare daily performance summaries to monitor plant by studying
laboratory test reports, standard log sheets and other daily operating
activity reports, and highlights abnormalities and suggests corrective
actions.
. To collect monthly plant production and operating data, evaluates unit
efficiencies by relating chemicals and energy consumption and prepares
reports with comments.
. To study required alterations of technical nature, in order to meet
variations in production plans and/or a varying feedstock.
. Assessing the availability of raw materials and the safety and
environmental impact of the plant;
. Assuming responsibility for risk assessment, necessitating hazard and
operability (HAZOP) studies, for the health and safety of both company
staff and the wider community
. Monitoring and improving the efficiency, output and safety of a plant
. Ensuring the process works at the optimum level, to the right rate and
quality of output, in order to meet supply needs
