Instrumentation and Control System Engineer

I am applying for a position as a Control and Instrument Engineer to

provide engineering activities compatible with the technical and safety

requirements of project specifications and international standards.

SUMMARY

Instrumentation and control engineer with 3 years of experience in

Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) companies for oil and gas

projects. The summaries of experiences are as follows:

. Good working knowledge of the basic and detail engineering for control

and instrumentation in the EPC oil and gas project, including

datasheet production, database generation and P&ID markups.

. Good working knowledge of detailed production of I&C deliverables such

as field instrument data sheets for temperature, pressure,

differential pressure, level, level gauges, and flow instruments

including orifice plate, restriction orifice, turbine flow meter,

vortex flow meter, ultrasonic flow meter, control valve, pressure

safety and relief valve.

. Worked on instrument index including DCS/SIS/ESD I/O list database

generation, instrument location layout, junction box wiring,

instrument cable schedule, loop diagram and bulk material MTO.

. Provide engineering support for procurement activities and purchasing

of field instrumentation including vendor documents review,

clarification sheet preparation, and technical bid evaluation for all

field instruments.

. Ability to work with engineering sizing software such as Instrucalc,

Wake Frequency calculation for thermowells, and other vendor sizing

software.

. Familiar with various national and international industry standards

and applicable codes ISA, IEC, ASME, ISO, API.

. Familiar with INtools environment such as instrument index, instrument

spec sheet, Creating instrument index in INtools by defining tag

number, instrument type (component and profile ), P&ID number, Line

Number, Equipment number, I/O type and loop name.Generating instrument

spec sheet in the INtools according to project specification and

standards importing required data (such as material, connection

type/size /rating, sensor type, sensor dimension and calibration rang

for transmitters).

Instrument Air Unit (ASU) and develop a tank farm area for new units and

products. During this project I worked as a trainee instrument engineer and

continued my responsibilities as a design instrument engineer in the

project detail design I was responsible for:

. Applying International Industrial Standards.

. Preparing instrument data sheet for temperature/ pressure/ level/

flow transmitters, temperature/pressure/level gauges.

. Preparing Instrument index and I/O list for DCS/SIS/ESD system

. Reviewing basic design documents and vendor data.

. Participating in gathering instrument engineering documentation.

SINATEL Company is one of leading telecommunication and mobile phone

service in Iran. As an IT engineer my primary responsibilities was to

provide technical and managerial assistance to group of engineers and

technicians. I was responsible for generating specification for

telecommunication and IT- solution hardware/software equipment including

specialty instrumentation, passive fiber optic network in Mobin -net and

final approval of purchasing for in country projects. This required

communicating with global vendors and especially with Chinese and South

Korean companies. I also have experience in fiber optic patch panel color

coding, pigtails, fusion and final testing with OTDR including network

(backbone) commissioning. Among other trainings, I participated in soft

switch basic training at LS- Company in South Korea .
