• Supervised maintenance and repairs in which controlled work was performed on numerous extended

maintenance periods and served as the Assistant Quality Assurance Officer while assigned to the USS

Memphis (SSN 691).

Technical

• Primary Receipt Inspector responsible for inspection and acceptance or rejection of all the quality

related parts received on site, including proper documentation, testing and dedication.

• Responsible for on-line and outage work package reviews to ensure that quality control inspection

points were integrated into the work.

• Ensured that work packages were written to be completed within the design document requirements and

applicable codes.

• Xcel Energy welding inspector responsible for ensuring welded materials were fabricated by procedure

and to the requirements of the design documents and applicable codes.

• Familiar with various codes and references including 10CFR50 App B, 10CFR21, ASME B31.1, AWS

D1.1, ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel, National Electric Code and ASTM material codes.

• Generated and maintained all NDE reports conducted by contract inspectors during plant outages and

ensured that the reports were subsequently filed with the applicable work package.

• Well versed in several computer programs including Microsoft Office, Passport, Sharepoint and Iddeal.

• Commands Assistant Quality Assurance Officer, responsible for certification of all the ships quality

assurance inspectors and maintaining all of the records pertaining to controlled maintenance.

• Commands Calibration coordinator, responsible for ensuring all of the ships departments maintained

their calibrated equipment within the required calibration periodicity.
