Eagle Promotions is a screen printing company with annual sales in excess of $20 million. My responsibilities included overall operation of the business. I developed and created a budgeting process and put a three year budget plan together. I oversaw all human resource functions, accounting functions, graphic artist functions and shipping/receiving and warehouse functions. Was also responsible for the print shop functions which included 100 employees. Also supervised a staff of 12 sales professionals. My job was eliminated.

Wellcare Pharmacy/Decatur Drug General Manager

Las Vegas, NV. Jan. 2006 – Jan. 2012

Wellcare pharmacy is a full service pharmacy and drugstore. I was responsible for the overall operation of the drug store. Duties included all human resource duties, budgeting and forecasting, P&L management, shipping and receiving, merchandising, ordering, loss prevention, shrinkage control, expense control, training, hiring, staff appraisals and overall visual presentation. The owner sold his pharmacies to CVS and they closed that location and transferred the pharmacy patients to CVS stores and at the same time I accepted the job offer with Eagle Promotions.

I was responsible for the overall operations of 11 stores for the Las Vegas, Nevada area. Duties included budgeting and forecasting, inventory reports, training and recruiting, staffing and appraisals and directing and implementing the company’s merchandising philosophy and visual presentation and I also oversaw a staff of 7 janitorial and maintenance employees. I was also responsible for P&L performance, operations and human resources.

Wal-Mart Stores Incorporated Store Manager

Las Vegas, NV. Jan. 1986 – May 2003

My many responsibilities included supervising the daily functions of 400 employees maintaining annual sales volume in excess of $60 million. I was responsible for overall merchandising setup, department location and pricing based upon local market analysis, customer service as well as overseeing back of house receiving/shipping and warehouse organization. I also responded to perpetual inventory reports, conducted daily and weekly meetings. Received store of the year award in 1996 out of 800 competitors. Trained new store managers for the corporation. Shrinkage during tenure ranged from .13 to .35.
