WORK EXPERIENCES:.
2009-2010: With Aldar Besix PMT in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, UAE - as Site
Superintendent/Chief Site Supervisor who supervised the works
with progress & quality control monitoring, with photographs and
reports making, coordinating/resolving the work interfacing
issues, and strictly implementing the company's safety program
to different contractors for the construction of Asphalt Roads,
Landscaping & Irrigation Works, all External Services -U/G
piping & cables (sewer/storm drainage /potable water /fire water
/fuel gas, communication cables, and LV & HV cables), manholes,
street lighting installation, signage, pile driving, 4-U/G Storm
Water Tank, and 2- A/G Irrigation Tank for Ferrari World
Project.
2006-2008: With Bechtel in Asab Gas Development (AGD)-II project, Asab,
Abu Dhabi, UAE - as Civil / Bldg. Superintendent., responsible
in field supervision for Civil works and Process buildings
(Substations/Control Houses/Operator Shelters) of the new plant
with work progress and quality control monitoring, coordination
with different discipline contractors in resolving of work
interfacing issues, and in the strict implementation of
company's safety program. Have also handled the supervision for
site preparation and asphalting of the 10 km access road in the
desert sand of Asab, the site preparation for the 270,000 sm new
plant site and 360,000 sm camp site areas, including for the
erection of 5000 man accommodation housing units and its
infrastructures.
2004-2005: In Abu Dhabi, UAE, with Technip-NEB Oil & Gas Plant Project in
Rumaitha & Al Dabbiyah-as Sr. Construction/Field Engineer/QC
Engineer/Estimator and was assigned in the Field Eng'g. Group,
and did the same responsibilities as in my previous project-
reviewing and approval of material submittals, QC inspections,
and supervision for Civil & Building work(Substations/Control
Houses/Operator Shelters), that includes building
electrical/communication works, signage, fire alarms, HVAC
installation, and punch listing for mechanical/final completion
handover. All the works were done with strict implementation of
company's safety program.
1995-2001: Worked w/ Bechtel in Onshore Gas Development (OGD)-1 project,
Habshan, Abu Dhabi from 1995-1996 -as Sr. Construction /Field
Engineer/QC Engineer/Estimator, and from 1997-1998, in Saudi
with SABCO (Bechtel) in Shaybah Central Producing Facilities,
and from 1999-2001 w/ Bechtel also in OGD-2, Habshan, same
position and all assigned in Field Eng'g. Group and responsible
in QC functions, field design change/estimating, and field
supervision for all Process Bldgs.(Substations/Control
Houses/Instrument & Electrical Stations/Operator Shelters) and
Civil Works with strict implementation of company's safety
program.
1991-1993: Worked in Kuwait with Bechtel-EEI as Building
Supervisor/Estimator and handled the clearing and refurbishments
of Ahmadi KOC Housings, all Process Bldgs. in Ahmadi Refinery,
and the Oil Field facilities. Also assigned as Supervisor of
Sand Blasting and Painting group for piping and steel beams used
for refinery refurbishment. All works have been done with strict
compliance to company's quality control and safety program. On
my second year, was also assigned to join our Field Engineering
Task Force Group who checked the gulf war damaged KOC facilities
and generated the scope of work for new engineering,
procurement, and construction (EPC) works.
1989-1990: Back to Saudi with M.S. Al Suwaidi in Rastanura as Sr.
Estimator, doing site visiting, attending job explanation
meeting, and estimating for Civil and Architectural works for
bidding to Aramco and Royal Commission Projects. Our company was
able to penetrate the Yanbu site, because of the first project
that we won in the bidding with Royal Commission due to my good
estimating leadership.

estimates:
1. Utility Works II - Seawater Cooling System, PIC A-1085, Royal
Commission/ENDECO Project in Yanbu.
2. South Pier Replacement of Superstructure Terminal, CN-
25954/00 ARAMCO Project in Rastanura.
3. Heat Exchanger Cleaning Facilities, CN-2XL3SA SADAF Project
in Jubail.
1986-1988: Worked in Kuwait with Braun Transworld Corporation (BTC)-
Engineering Equipment Inc. (EEI) for Mina Abdullah Refinery,
from Field Office Engineer / Estimator / QC inspector to Area
Supt. for all Process Buildings and Shelters. My job assignment
includes checking of weekly building progress & work schedules,
quality control & safety inspections, and field supervision for
different subcontractors.
1977-1985: Joined M. Al Mojil Est.-EEI in Saudi and gained experience
both in field and engineering works for ARAMCO Projects. Started
to work as Civil Supervisor for construction of ARAMCO
Construction Camp in Shedgum and became Gen. Supt. to Project in
Charge. Next was in Ghanimah Seawater Project (by Bechtel) as
Superintendent and handled the construction of Water Injection
Pump Station (WIPS # 1 & 4) with strict compliance of quality
control and safety program. Worked also w/ our Engineering Dept.
as Estimating Supervisor and handled the estimating of small to
major projects for bidding to ARAMCO, SCECO, and Royal
Commission. Among my major awarded project estimates were the
following:
1. Shedgum Power Plant for SCECO.
2. Udhailiyah Medical Clinic for ARAMCO
3. Udhailiyah Well Services-Facilities for ARAMCO
4. Aindar Desalter Plant for ARAMCO
1971-1977: Worked with Engineering Equipment Inc. (EEI) in Manila,
Philippines as Designer & Estimator( Junior to Senior Engineer)
for civil, buildings, and structural steel works for small to
major projects for mining, refineries, and manufacturing
industries, and also assigned as Field Engineer for the
construction of Philippine-Australian National Industries (ANI)
Forge Plant in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, Philippines.
Among my major awarded project estimates were the
following:
1. Philex Mining Secondary-Tertiary Building Expansion, made of
800 Tons Steel Structure.
2. Philex Mining Magnetite-Concentrate Storage Building, 100
feet span x 400 feet long and a two-hinged arch structural
steel building.
3. Conveyor Frame-Housing, 200 feet long w/ tower support at 40
feet span each bay for Philex Mining.
4. Beer Tanks Structural Steel Building for San Miguel
Corporation.
5. 50,000 and 60,000 gals. LPG Tank (bullet type) Foundation for
Caltex Philippines.
6. Republic Glass Industrial Building, 400' x 400' Open Web
Truss Type Structural Steel Building.
7. Site Development and construction of Heat Treatment Building,
Forge Plant Building, and Administration Building for ANI
(Australian National Industries) Philippines Forge Plant.
8. Structural Steel Supports and Platforms for Shell
Philippines.
9. 400 feet long Bus Duct - an open web frame beams with A-frame
supports for General Motors Philippines.
