Project

Title: A NOVEL LOAD SHEDDING SYSTEM WITH CAPACITOR BANK, TO OBTAIN FAST

AND OPTIMUM SOLUTION FOR INDUSTRIAL LOADS.

Software used: ETAP

Duration: 3 month

Description:

This project mainly used to make good protection throughout the system as

well as the equipments inside the system. Mostly industries deliver power

from the grid and co-generators. But some cases load demands are low, so

it delivers power only from co-generators. In this case, no need of any

load shedding process in the system. When the load demand is higher, then

the power is delivered from both the grid and co-generator. In this case,

any faults occur in the main grid bus. It opens the main circuit breaker

and isolates the system from the grid. Now there is a fixed power drip in

the system. To compensates the power drip throughout the system. There

should In need of removing the loads at that instant. This process is

called load shedding. So introduction of a novel load shedding system

will make a proper load shedding in the system. it helps to make an

economic in the case of operation. And also capacitor bank connecting in

higher priority load bus helps to maintain good power factor and voltage

support.
