Topic - Authentication Schemes for Session Passwords Using Color and Images (IEEE 2011)

Description: Textual passwords are the most common method used for authentication. But textual passwords are

vulnerable to eves dropping, dictionary attacks, social engineering and shoulder surfing. To address these

problems, in this project texts are combined with colors to generate session passwords for authentication. Session

passwords can be used only once and every time a new password is generated. These methods are suitable for

Personal Digital Assistants.

Description:

The system is a novel framework for query-adaptive image search with hash codes. By harnessing a

large set of predefined semantic concept classes, our approach is able to predict query-adaptive bitwise weights of

hash codes in real-time, with which search results can be rapidly ranked by weighted Hamming distance at finer-

grained hash code level. So this capability alleviates the effect of a coarse ranking problem. The query adaptive

image search scheme provides better image search experience for the web users,and also helpful in applications

such as image categorization problems in computer vision and multimedia, crime prevention, medical diagnosis,

military applications,face findings etc.
