PROJECTS
Linear Elastic Buckling Analysis of University of Texas at Arlington
Thin-Walled Structural Components by Spring 2014
ANSYS WB, SOLIDWORKS AND NASTRAN &
PATRAN
Found the mid surface of various solid models of thin walled structural
components and then studied its buckling behavior
Carried out linear buckling analysis in ANSYS WB,SOLIDWORKS AND NASTRAN &
PATRAN and compared their results with the published paper results.
Calculated and compared computational timings of solid and shell elements
Stress and deflection analysis of a University of Texas at Arlington
trapezoidal cross-section crane hook Spring 2013
Performed stress and deflection analysis of a trapezoidal c/s crane hook
in ANSYS WORKBENCH which was subjected to different loads.
A separate stress analysis was investigated on the contact surface between
the ring and the hook using a stress probe.
Development and Modification of a DSCE Bangalore,India Jan-May
Diesel Engine Test Rig & to conduct 2012
a performance test
Modified a diesel engine test rig which has provisions to :
i) Measure Intake air temperature
ii) Measure the Mass of the fuel consumed
iii) Load the engine
iv) Measure temperature of cooling water entering and leaving engine cylinder
jackets
v) Temperature of exhaust gases leaving the engine cylinder
Conducted a performance test on the developed test rig by varying an engine
operating parameter
INDUSTRIAL TRAINING July 2011
V Undergone Summer Industrial Training at ONGC(Oil & Natural Gas
Corporation Ltd INDIA) and completed project work in "The Study &
Maintenance of Air Compressors and Pumps along with Familiarization in
Mechanical Maintenance of the process plant"
