Joint Apprenticeship and Training Trust: 1995-1999

I received a detailed OJT and classroom instruction in the NEC with various facets of electrical

construction work . I assisted journeymen with the installation of local area networkss, fire

alarm, low-voltage, testing and repairs.During the course of my apprenticeship I worked Lasalle

and Braidwood Nuclear plants installing rigid raceways. In addition, I worked in Com-Ed’s

power stations Stateline and Crawford.

Journeyman Electrician: 1999-2004

I was responsible and learned to install, maintain and troubleshoot process control systems and

fiber optic cable. In addition, I became knowledgeable in the designing of local area networks

and wiring of power and lightning systems using the techniques, circuitry, measuring current,

wiring, safety and repair. During this time I learned the skill of AutoCad to implement diagrams

photographs and hands-on techniques to enhance fundamental power concepts.

Adams Electric: 2007

Foreman…I supervised and directed electrical journeymen. Ensured assigned construction

Projects were in compliance within NEC standards and specifications. Adjusted schedules as

needed.Modified blueprints to fit particular applications.
