PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Experience
SURFACE PLANT LEAD MAN/PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR(6/2008-present)
Arch Materials, LLC (Batavia, Ohio)
Responsibilities: Run and oversee the running of production plant with minimal down time. I
design and plan out production for different types of materials. The different material that is
made all depends on the Metso and the Diester screener setups. From the different types of
screen setups to which direction gates are flipped plays a very important role in material
gradation and cost. I currently oversee the work of three employees that perform maintenance;
plant operations and general clean up. I have been promoted to the position that I am in now
from an underground operator/maintenance position. I have reduced cost along with reducing
down time tremendously in the past two years by changing screen setups and enrolling a daily
maintenance program. With all the different types of material we produce I am able to exceed the
predictions of tons produced daily, while still remaining focused on the number one goal
SAFETY.
Increased production by 30% over two years by changing screen and gate setups.
Decreased downtime by 20% by eliminating costly screen changes and a daily
maintenance regimen.
PLANT MAINTENANCE/OPERATOR (8/2007-6/2008)
Prus Construction (Cincinnati, Ohio)
Responsibilities: Ran and oversaw production of a recrushing operation. I was very hands on
from doing minor repairs and running equipment to doing major replacements on the equipment.
I had a hand in improving production by coming up with a daily maintenance regimen which
reduced downtime during production.
Increased production by 15%
Decreased downtime by 10%
OPERATOR (4/2006-8/2007)
Evans Landscaping (Anderson, Ohio)
Responsibilities: Operating equipment along with maintaining it was my major responsibility. By
doing the maintenance myself I grew to learn more about the equipment and how to improve
production by having minimal downtime.
Plant Maintenance (6/2004-4/2006)
Eagle Crushed Stone (Winchester, Ohio)
Responsibilities: This is where I was able to get my start in the crushed stone industry. Hired in
to perform nightly maintenance, I was quickly able to improve on how the daily greasing was
done by breaking it up throughout the week that way the plant was checked out more which
resulted in less down time in the production shift. I advanced into an equipment operator roll,
and then into running the finishing plant for the second shift. With minimal downtime I was able
to exceed production rates that had been set.
Increased production by 5%
Decreased downtime by 10%
