both nationally and internationally. Secure transportation for the product

utilizing trucks, rail and vessels for exporting.

Economy Produce (October, 1990 - April, 2013)

Buyer/Salesman - Worked with shippers and brokers nationally to secure

product to sell at both the brokerage, wholesale and retail levels. Worked

closely with major chain store retailers, large and small, promoting sales

through their ads. Also, assisted with development of food service

companies, large and small, to secure product through contracts to generate

sales. Assisted in the design and development of cross docking with a

major shipper to a major food service/retailer on the east coast.

Responsibilities included sales, billing, inventory, quality control,

distribution, logistics, both rail and trucking, ripening and receivables.

Accomplishments: In 1995, I was assigned my own commission house that was

acquired by my company to establish sales for potatoes and onions.

Exceeded annual sales goals including record sales in the potato and onion

market from 2004 to 2012. While the Food Terminal Market was declining, I

managed to grow the business by establishing new accounts with companies

that were buying direct from shippers. This innovative approach generated

profit that doubled from 2004 to 2012 during a recessionary economy.

JoDeco (March, 1988 - September, 1990)

Buyer/Salesman - Worked with shippers and brokers to develop the potato and

onion business to compliment their existing vegetable wholesale business.

Generated sales to new customers on both the retail and food service end.

Responsibilities included sales, billing, inventory, quality control,

distribution, logistics, both rail and trucking, ripening and receivables.

Accomplishments: Overall sales increased 300% while potatoes and onions

were 150% of the sales. Worked closely with a major retail chain to supply

their stores with all of our product.

Freshline/Singer Produce (August, 1983 - February, 1988)

onion business to compliment their existing vegetable wholesale business.

Accomplishments: Assisted the family operated business to overcome a

$575,000 debt that was created as a result of a partner of Singer

Corporation. This was accomplished in a short period of time by generating

sales through establishing a packaging house for potatoes and onions.
