Siemens Government Technologies- 2005-2012
Senior Project Manager
Developed and managed various security-related projects, initiation through
closing, for a US government agency.
Managed relationship with our strategic OEM partners that resulted in
acquisition of multi-million dollar business over the 6 years I was with
them.
This successful relationship contributed heavily to the acquisition of the
multi-million dollar government prime contract.
I developed an Access DB tool to track and report project change orders and
work orders. This streamlined the process within our operating departments.
I can obtain US DOD and TSA clearance.
Siemens Communications
Product Manager 2001-2005
Owned the P&L responsibility for partner and company developed products,
from initiation through market introduction and life cycle support.
Represented Product Management as an expert for security solutions.
Initiated, led product development, and introduced new security system for
secure remote access to premise solution. This replaced outdated solution
for the US market Exceeded 500K revenue first year sales which met company
target. This was a partner product with UK firm.
Initiated, led portfolio development, and introduced System/Network
Security assessment product suite. The suite included a digital forensics
component. This was with Teledesign as our partner. This was purchased by
the company nationwide to assess all our internal systems.
Maintained APC power products and introduced a new line of power systems.
We consistently exceeded our multi-million dollar revenue target for the
power products.
Maintained Siemens directory and attendant application products as part of
the large system sales.
Program Manager - Munich Germany 1998-2001
Definition Team
Represented global telecommunication service business. As the Service
expert, worked within a cross functional team to evaluate and package new
product development projects to meet global customer demands and company
cost and profit targets. We led and achieved a major company initiative to
consolidate the product development to a single and truly global PBX
platform. The result was a multi-million dollar cost savings in developing
features for the system. This new release was the flagship product and
exceeded the revenue targets in the US.
U.S. Service Business/ Munich HQ liaison
Achieved the global implementation of a common set of service tools within
the US Service organization and standardized the tool suite globally. The
resulting common set of tools realized a multi-million dollar cost savings
to the company as well as streamlined technical support function.
Realization Team
Represented global service business to manage the service rollout of
products. Led a transnational and cross functional team to bring the new
service products and features to market. We were on budget and on time
with the rollout to all countries. In particular the US which included the
new service tools and processes.
