Grant Writing
11/2013 WeatherBug Satellite System for Glenn Marshall Elementary located Richmond, KY in the amount of $ 20,000.
The success of the grant has made it possible for children to learn and focus on the core areas of today’s educational
curriculum that consist of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math; with the intent for the overall national test scores
of the school to surpass any of the set national standards. The satellite system is also used in the schools morning news
program. The WeatherBug system has become an intrical, hands on, real time and educational addition to Glenn
Marshall Elementary. Glenn Marshall is the only school in its county to have such a system in place.
