As the Director of Respiratory Care Services I am responsible for setting the vision and direction

for the respiratory care department and for establishing and maintaining a culture of excellence.

I have set high standards of evidence based practice. I have 24-hour-a-day responsibility and

accountability for the planning, coordination, direction, organization and evaluation of

Respiratory Therapy Department and the hospitals biomedical needs. As the Director I maintain

a budget, equipment, procedures, departmental systems and processes according to current

technology. I work with the Director of Nursing to coordinate training of the nursing department

to ensure we deliver quality clinical care for patients. I have rewritten/updated the Policies and
