I am an experienced teacher assistant. I am responsible, flexible, caring, patient, understanding, and compassionate person. For the last 7 years, I have worked with children with special needs, especially children on the Autism Spectrum and Down syndrome. This included working with general education children K-12 within the public school system. I love all children! I enjoy interacting with them through reading, playing, talking, teaching, arts and crafts, and outdoor activities. It is so important for children to experience so much of what life has to offer. Each child is so precious and adorable; each has their own story. It is amazing to me how much of their character and personality is formed and expressed by an innate sense of being and certain factors in their formative years. It’s an interesting process.

I am working toward my Teaching Degree. I also have a strong medical background. I am certified in First Aid and CPR. I have also babysat infants, toddlers, and preschoolers for family members, neighbors, and volunteered at my church daycare. I just love children.
