2012 - 2014
Electro-Mechanical Assembler
. Complete mechanical assembly and wiring Airborne Power and Control
units with detailed mechanical drawing, schematics and Wire lists.
. Assemble cable to measure length using crimp tools for pin in
connector. Rework and repair defected units. Solder wires with
soldiering iron as need on assembles.
NORTHROP gRUMMAN 2000 -
2011
Electrical Mechanical
. Systems Test electrical and mechanical operational functions, made
alignment, adjustments and repairs as needed. Built test sets and jigs
to test systems functions.
. Worked request for changes on prototype equipment in development stage
on sub-assemblies.
. Assisted engineers with writing mechanical alignment procedures for US
Postal Service systems.
Selected Accomplishment: Made major modification to system main support
frame; created, cut and installed new sub-assembly (USPS). Result:
Reduced jams and maximized sorting.
Problem Solving
. Possess excellent interpretation skills of drawings, electrical
schematics, and assembly prints.
. Troubleshot pneumatics, Mac valves, and vacuum pumps for mis-located
air leaks, etc.
. Resolved belt tracking issues, pulley noise, photo eyes, motors and
PLC drive problems.
. Solved electrical problems to board and component level, trace wiring
placement, etc...
Selected Accomplishment: Pneumatic lines had leaks and would come loose,
found that
System had standard and metric fitting with all metric hoses changed all
fitting to one style.
Results: Reduced jams and prevented sorting error

Research and Development
. Selected to construct prototype assemblies including: cables, wiring
harnesses, sub-assemblies and soldering to repaired/modified printed
circuit boards and cables.
. As Engineer Technician, supported research and development, performed
new part efficiency testing and electrical mechanical procedures.
. As a Machinist, modified new parts from raw material, tested parts for
full life cycle performance.
Selected Accomplishment: Doing life cycle testing discovered that parts
were breaking, from
Machine vibration and torque, had to have new parts made with more
reinforcement.
Result: Discovery prevented in field down time and customer
dissatisfaction.
