Nov 2, 2012 - May 30, 2014
Integration Specialist / Senior Technical Architect
I have been at American Airlines as a Technical/Solutions Architect since
Iate 2012. My job duties include building Proof of concepts, Meeting with
the business, tweak them, then send them on or offshore depending how
quickly they want it delivered. We have been putting out a major release
per month since I started. I review all the technical design documents and
sign off on them. Then I sit with the developers for a code walkthrough
and demo for signoff. Since I took on this role I'm proud to say we have
zero defects in 10 months of major releases. I'm also responsible to tweak
Oracle performance as they have a 2 second SLA when you enter an Admirals
Club and over 180 rules that grant you access. That is hard to do as many
applets and BO's that they are using. I also went to Siebel OpenUI
training and just finished and OpenUI POC for the Admirals Clubs. It will
be running on iPads and Samsung 10" Tablets. I was also a designer and
architect for over 25 SOA calls to buy memberships, using Credit Cards or
Miles, Retrieve the members AAdvantage Number and Tier, etc.
