multiple task orders. Project remains under budget and ahead of schedule.

• Directed test and evaluation team on new electro-optical/infra-red turret system. Test results accelerated

maintenance procedure timeline resulting in $800K annual savings.

• Managed program level integration planning for transfer of DoD aircraft. Congressional approval granted

saving $500M in acquisition costs.

• Led development of $300K training courseware system. Projected to save 500-labor hrs annually.

Chief of H 60 Training/Director of Operations/Instructor Pilot 2007 – 2012

management experience for the initial and recurrent training of more than 600 flight crewmembers stationed

Managed unit Aviation Safety Management System (SMS) in the U.S. Coast Guard’s most hazardous area of

operations. Conducted Search and Rescue operations in support of the world’s maritime industry. Deployed in

support of the State Department’s Operation Bahamas and Turks and Caicos (OPBAT) counterdrug mission.

• Provided training on the tenets of the unit’s SMS program. Buy in from stakeholders resulted in 100%

increase in incident/accident reporting.

• Led unit response to a major aircraft accident preserving critical evidence that identified causal factors of

the accident.

corresponding $600K annual contractual savings.

• Unit continuously recognized for excellence. Leadership prowess highlighted on evaluation report by General

Officer. Cited as a top 5% performer under his 5,000-person command.

• Prepared and executed $10M annual operating budget supporting federal, state, and local agencies

performing counterdrug missions. Developed new revenue stream through innovative asset sharing

agreement with supported law enforcement organizations producing 25% increase in available funds.
