Your Role : Team member

Description : This project is concerned about the security issues of

General Motors, all the critical and production data were protected by

Global Support Service (GM-GSS) system. All the critical information are

secured and maintained in the database, whenever the data is accessed set

of predefined rules will be in effect to protect the data from accidental

and malicious access. And we are supporting the GM production systems by

both onsite and offshore team as per the SLA,

The operational process involves:

> This is purely based on Mainframe security to the add Single user or

Group.

> Group-SPECIAL - ensure user profile OWNER is within scopeof-groups,

else will not be able to administer.

> Deleting user does not remove user from access lists or purge

associated profiles.

> ALTUSER REVOKE / RESUME

> Providing resource and dataset access to single user or Group.

> PERMIT- Clears existing access list(s) of a profile.

> AUDITING- Unintended changes to AUDIT options I.E; replacing as
