Franklin Pacific Construction Inc. July 2009 - Present
Bridge Carpenter and Carpenter Lead - Worked with the superintendent to cut
cost by improving overall organization and work flow. Provided maintenance,
repairs and setup of the Bidwell 4800 to maintain a continued high quality
bridge deck. My overall responsibilities include: train new employees as
needed, establishing grades, building and installing forms, pouring and
finishing concrete, making the job site safe and clean, maintain and setup of
Bidwell 4800 finish machine and working closely with state and county
inspectors.
D.L. Edmundson Construction July 2007 - June 2009
Bridge Carpenter and Carpenter Lead - During my employment I was responsible
for all aspects of bridge construction and the completion of three bridges.
Left the company due to lack of work in June 2009.
Grant Crow Construction October 1997 - June 2009
Owned and operated my own construction business. Built houses, additions,
decks and remodeling. Performed all duties solely from bidding jobs, obtaining
permits, scheduling sub contractors and all purchasing of materials. I was
also licensed for natural gas and propane installation for residential and
commercial structures.
Rawlings Manufacturing Inc. February 1994 - October 1997
Plant Manager - I performed the duties of shop manager, purchasing agent, sales
representative and field technician. As the plant manager I performed all
duties from hiring, firing and supervising and of employees, scheduling,
quality control, safety, etc. As the purchasing agent I ordered all materials
while maintaining the highest quality of materials at a competitive price. I
kept accurate records and input all records into a computer program. As sales
representative and field technician I answered technical questions regarding
the machinery and performed machinery installations and start-ups along with
servicing, training and repairs.
Boise Cascade Corp., La Grande, OR Sawmill October 1991 - February 1994
Millwright and Maintenance Supervisor - Hired as a millwright then was promoted
to Maintenance Supervisor in July 1992. Supervisor over eighteen employees
consisting of millwrights, oilers, carpenters, boiler repairmen and
electricians. Active in "Total Quality" programs and was selected team leader
for various improvement projects. I completed levels I & II of the
Inter-Action Management training and was appointed employer principle member
for the Oregon State Apprenticeship Committee for Industrial Maintenance
Mechanics. My duties included scheduling of employees and projects, quality
control parts procurement, purchasing materials, safety trainings, labor
disputes, arbitration, budgeting, etc.

Peacock Lumber Company, Cove, Oregon August 1983 -
October 1991
Hired as a Millwright for the sawmill and planer. Was promoted to Planer
Superintendent in 1985. My duties included set up, planer maintenance, knife
grinding, quality control and supervised all planer employees including planer
feeders, graders, trim saw operators, chain pullers, pickers and fork lift
drivers.
During this time I also was a millwright in the sawmill when time allowed.
VEMCO Inc. (Vernam Equipment Manufacturing Company) December 1985 - April
1986
Worked for VEMCO at the same time I was employed by Peacock Lumber Company
building a new sawmill for Peacock Lumber. My duties included steel
fabrication, welding, machinery installation and setup.
