login into account with username and password, deposit the money, transfer

Role: Jr Test Engineer

Description: Worked as a Test Engineer for Westfield Insurance, Westfield

serving people all over Ohio. Payroll automation system was an in-house

product that was developed to automate the functions and activities of

employee's services. The main application was running in the Head-office

and networked to every Corporate and City office such that they had real

time access to the application remotely. This application was useful for

maintaining employee information, calculating the number of hours worked by

an employee, deducting taxes, track sick and vacation days and keep up to

date with tax law changes. This software consists of four modules i.e.

employee's pay information, sick and vacation days, tax information and

allowances/deductions. I was involved in Sanity Check of the project. The

application was developed in two-tier architecture.

. Analysed system specifications and helped team members to achieve test

goals.

. Involved in writing Test plans and implemented numerous test cases in

Test Director.

. Automated Front End testing and Back End testing using Black Box testing

methodology, using Win Runner

. Designed Test cases and Test procedures.

. Performed Functional, System testing that includes Regression testing

using Win Runner.

. Used SQL to perform Backend Testing Involved automated testing including

Regression Testing using Win Runner

. Manually conducted the Sanity test.

. Manually conducted Positive and Negative tests.

. Performed Data Driven Tests on the application using Win Runner.

. Used SQL Queries to verify the data from the Oracle database
