Attended short term training on “Pesticidal knowledge about estimation of residual pesticides in
tissues of test fish” and “Laboratory protocol for toxicological studies on fish exposed to
pesticides” from November 26th October to 9th November, 2009 in Indian Institute of Toxicology
Research, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
Biochemistry : Biochemical analysis of Glucose, Protein, Lipids, Cholestrol and Acetylcholinestrase,
Alkaline phosphatase and Acid phosphatase enzyme analysis of fish muscle, liver and gills tissues and
serum.
Heamatology : Hematological parameters of RBC and WBC count, Hemoglobin count, Hematocrit,
MCV and MCHC, MCH, MCV.
Endocrinology : Serum thyroid Hormone parameters of test fish, T3,T4, TSH and cortisol. The total
salts of Sodium (Na), Potassium (K), Cholride (Cl) and Ca and gill tissue of test fish Sodium (Na),
Potassium (K) have been analysed using flame photometer.
Physiopathology : Serum biochemical parameters of test fish, Protein, Glucose, cholesterol, calcium,
SGOT, SGPT, Blood urea, alakaline phosphate, acid phosphatase and Erythrocyte sedimentation rate
were also studied.
Genotoxicity : Micronucleaus assay and Comet assay have done
Pesticide residue analysis of Insecticide effected liver tissue of fresh water fish Channa punctatus on
Gas Liquid Chromatography have been estimated.
