Working as Deputy Head- New product Development/New project (E3 grade

Worked in Gurgaon - 1 year.(IMT manesar plant - Support for MSIL/HONDA

projects)

V Reporting to Program Manager and with team of 5 members.

Key Responsibilities:

Design /Process Review (Product Feasibility study )& Cost analysis :

V Lead entire new part development activities for passenger car parts .(End

to end product life cycle from Customer voice, RFQ to Final sample part

approval).

Trim assembly and Door Hood latches, Truck lid hinges, Front/Rear/Tail

gate hinges .

> Joined as a AM~ NPD/New projects Reporting to Engineering Manager and

with team of 15 members.

Key Responsibilities :

Design/Process review & Schedule Planning

V Review the design which is given by customer and confirm the product

needs, then define critical/special characteristics and confirm the

process layout for sample production.

V Conducted proto sample verification and validation through process

feasibility and cost factor.

V Responsible to Define product development activities including

requirement analysis, finalising specifications, process designing,

prototype development and testing.

V Timely created time frame and Executed developments projects; through

technical feasibility studies,equipment facility / sub contract

development cycle. i.e single carrier assembly for muti function

component instead of separate assembly for each component of door

assembly by the process of riveting/Insert fitting technology .

V Improvement done through cell-reengineering to enhance productivity and

reduce manpower. Identified possibilities & implemented Poka-yoke

fixtures for critical process. Design new fixtures and gauges for

measurement.(Weld spot missing)
