George Robinson Background

George Robinson has been in the construction industry for 30 years as an

Apprentice then Journeyman Cabinet Maker and General Contractor. As a

General Contractor for 26 years, Mr. Robinson built many custom homes in

the High Desert area, completing all aspects of the work including

concrete work slabs, flatwork and retaining walls, framing, plumbing,

electric, cabinets, tiling, and painting. He is very knowledgeable in

construction practices, code interpretation and compliance. He

interfaces effectively with both contractors and construction management.

George Robinson has been a licensed DSA Class 3 Inspector for thirteen

years and is experienced as an Inspector of Record and Assistant Inspector.

Wiseburn School District IOR DSA 3 from 6/09 - 4/10

Contracted with LCC 3 Ed Cunningham to inspect all aspects of construction

on new 6 classroom building and restroom facilities valued at approximately

3.5 million App. #03-107752. While also inspecting new parking lot and

landscaping valued at 700,000. App #03-112322 at Burnett elem. School.

La Puente Hacienda Heights Unified School District - DSA Class 3 IOR 3/08

- 4/09

Contracted with Team Inspections, Mr. Robinson is a DSA Class 3 Inspector

assigned to 10 different projects involving mostly relocateable units; 2

sites scope being security camera systems for prices ranging from $50,000

to $900,000.

LLC 3 Consulting (Temecula, CA) - Project Inspector 11/06 - 1/08

Inspected all underground work storm drains, catch basins, main water lines

and hydrants, manholes and the erection of a 35' tall by 750' long mortar

less soil retention system. Cost is over $2 million.

State Consulting & Inspection Services - Proposition MM for San Diego

Unified School District - DSA Class 3 Inspector 3/03 - 9/06

Assigned as Inspector of Record to Wilson Middle School (App #04-104283; $2

million), Sierra High School (App #04-104129; $500,000), Hamilton

Elementary (App #04-104217; $1 million), Miller Elementary (App #04-103435;

$2.1 million), Miller Elementary Child Development Center (App #04-103474;

$300,000), Tierrasanta (App #04-103595; $1.9 million) at San Diego Unified

School District.

Scope of work included hydraulic stabilization with some six hundred

different hole pump full of mortar to prevent slippage of school;

modernization and alteration for ADA; new transformers and feeders;

technology modernization; fire alarm system, replacement of base and

asphalt of parking lot, Emergency Power Units, upgrade of data system,

abatement of flooring, installation of elevator, new 2158 square foot wood

frame library and all aspects involved with new construction, landscaping

and irrigation system.

All American Inspections Services (Riverside, CA) - Project Inspector (1999

to 2001)

Mr. Robinson assisted IOR at Colony High School of Chaffey Joint High

School District (App #04-101884; $1.3 million). He inspected grading, weir

channel, storm drain, catch basin, dry wells, retaining walls, rip raps, 5'

diameter reinforced concrete pipes, storm drain line, and culverts. He

also worked on Growth Project 2000 with Pomona Unified School District. He

worked with multiple architects and contractors at seventeen different

school sites mostly setting up modular units, running underground

electricity, banks, sewer lines, and supply lines.

Even though I have an ICC for soils I do not have any experience with it. I

am currently in school for CWI. I do also have approx. 1 yr. with PTI with

reinforced concrete, Micro Piles and Helical Piles. I also have about 1 yr.

with Geocon as a L.A. City Deputy Masonry Inspector.
