Biochemistry:
• Protein over-expression in bacteria (E.coli), yeast(Pichia), insect cells (Hi5, SF9,
S2) and mammalian cells (293 cells);
• Constructs design based on secondary structure prediction/experimental result;
• Protein purification using AKTA and FPLC system including IMAC Ni chelating,
GS4B, gel filtration, hydrophobic interaction chromatography, affinity columns and
ion-exchange chromatography;
• Peptide seperation using HPLC reverse phase column;
• Protein-Protein interaction: Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR), ITC etc;
• Enzyme activity assay including kinase assay, phosphotase assay, ATPase assay,
etc.;
• Structure-guided mutagenesis for function study (in vitro & in vivo).
