PROFESSIONAL WORK EXPERIENCE: As a Safety Professional, I have the ability to administer

the safety and health program within a project and maintain liaison with client’s representatives. I also

have many years experience in Production, Management and Sales, working cohesively with all levels of

the organization to Deliver Goals and Meet Objectives.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: To ensure compliance for company and client requirements in safety

rules, policies and procedures, as well as for Federal OSHA Construction Standards. Also, advice craft

supervisors & employees in the enforcement, and understanding of said programs and standards.

Additional responsibilities on the job site include; inspections, audits & employee observations; hazard

recognition, evaluation & control; hazardous materials management; health hazard control; fire protection

and prevention; safety training and education; first aid administration; accident/incident investigation;

reporting and recordkeeping.

EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS: 1978 graduate from Army & Navy Academy High

School in Carlsbad, CA. Attended, Universidad Ibero Americana in Mexico City for 2 years. I also

attended Texas A&M University in College Station, TX until 1982, but did not graduate. I am bilingual;

read, write and speak Spanish. I have been in the industrial and construction industry for seven years, and

managed to acquired the following training and certificates: 100 Hour NCCER/CSST, 30 Hour & 10 Hour

OSHA Courses in accordance with 29CFR 1926 & 29CFR 1910 General Industry Construction

Standards, HazCom Standard and HazCom Program Training, Respiratory Protection Program, Confined

Space Entry, Hydrogen Sulfide Safety Program, NCCER Competent Person Scaffold Builder/User Safety,

Fall Protection & Prevention Programs, Fire Protection/Prevention Programs, Back Care Safety, Anti-
